This 2-day tutorial set is specifically focused on providing practical ESD information to small to midsize electronic and related companies who do not have in-house ESD experts but want to ensure themselves that they have good ESD practices and processes in place to protect their products. This series is delivered in 2-parts:

Day 1 is designed primarily for personnel working in a contract manufacturer, parts distributor, electronic repair facility, and electronic field service organizations.
Day 2 is for organizations that perhaps are more familiar with an ESD control program but would like an update and refresher as well as having an opportunity to have questions answered that may have been around for awhile. The two days are independent in content so you are welcomed to attend both days.

Day 1 – March 4, 2014
8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
Fundamental handling practices to reduce the risk of ESD damage
Workstation, flooring, personnel, test areas, packaging, control of non-conductors, and more.

1:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Installing the most basic ESD control program (ESD Control on a shoestring budget) Identify the critical areas, determine what is needed, find materials to suit needs, evaluation

Day 2 – March 5, 2014
8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
Simplified measurements to ensure that an ESD control program is working and a review of best practices used by major companies today Is ESD a real threat? Why don’t we see more failures?
